Despite the name suggesting otherwise, we actually have the Persians to thank for the Venetian blind. The Venetians took their original design and modified it with 2 inch wooden slats laid across ribbons of fabrics.
We have a choice of 5 different types of Venetian blind - wood, wood effect, palm, aluminium and expanded foam PVC slat. They are available in various finishes, widths and drops, with child safe opening mechanisms fitted where necessary. For ease of use they can also be fitted with an electric motor, allowing for operation with a remote control.
